About the author: Chrissy Metz is a certified nutritionist and former Miss USA, who has transformed herself into a healthy, fat-free woman. In 2021, she wrote and launched the successful Metz Weight Loss Program in her home in Gainesville, FL with the help of her mother. The program was created after Metz spent years trying to get back into shape following her time as a size 4 but found it nearly impossible. She was also dissatisfied with the results of many diet plans. Specifically, she felt that the majority of the diet plans offered were not sustainable long-term. As such, with the help of her mother, Stratchler decided to launch the Metz Weight Loss Program in 2021.

As described on the Metz website, the program consists of a six-week action plan. Each week, the user is asked to eat a specific amount of ”diet food” (which they state should be healthy foods) and to follow a specific amount of daily exercise. After the first week, the dieter should expect to lose about three pounds. It’s important to note that although Metz claims that the diet plan will help you lose three pounds per week, it’s important to keep in mind that losing this much weight in a short period of time without proper nutrition is almost impossible. According to the Metz website, during the first week of the program, you will need to eat a certain amount of diet food in order to make it through one day without consuming any solid food. The website also advises that you should not increase your caloric intake during the first week of the program in order to see the results you’re looking for.

As you can see, the basic premise behind the Metz Weight Loss program is that you should get stuck to the plan and follow it strictly for the first week in order to get used to it and get accustomed to the daily diet plan. Also, you’ll find that the program is rather easy to follow and doesn’t require a high level of dedication or motivation in order to work effectively. I think that the biggest drawback of the Metz program is that people can easily become bored if the program isn’t changed often enough. Since the program offers such a simple diet plan and a very short period of time to work with, this may prove to be a problem for some.
